Terms of sale
Updated on September 30, 2026.
This translation is provided for your convenience. In case of any difference, the French version prevails.
1. What you buy
A licence to use the DriverDetect or Eyes Guard software in its Premium edition, for the number of PCs and the duration shown on the chosen offer. The licence takes the form of a key to enter in the software. The software itself is free and remains usable, as the free edition, without a licence. Seller: PC Confort, whose details are given in the legal notice.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, on the Buy page. The applicable price is the one displayed when you order. Payment is made by card (processed by Stripe on its secure page; we never receive your card number), or by the other methods offered on the order tracking page. A promo code applies when you order and cannot be added afterwards.
3. Delivery
The key is delivered electronically: it is shown on the order tracking page and sent by e-mail to the address you gave, as soon as payment is received (immediately by card; within one to two working days after a bank transfer or a PayPal payment is received). A subscription can only be paid by card. Check your spam folder; if nothing arrives, write to contact@pcconfort.com quoting your order number.
4. Duration, renewal, number of PCs
A one-time licence is valid for the duration of the offer from the date of payment; it does not renew automatically and nothing is charged when it ends. A subscription licence follows the rules of section 5. A renewal, from My account, extends the end date of the same key. The key can be active at the same time on the number of PCs of the offer; a PC can be released from My account to use the key on another one. The licence is personal: it must not be published or resold.
5. Automatically renewing subscriptions
Some offers are sold as a subscription, yearly or monthly, paid by card through Stripe. The price is charged when you order, then automatically at the start of each new period, at the price shown when you subscribed; the licence is then extended accordingly, with the same key, and an invoice is issued for each payment. For a yearly subscription, an e-mail reminds you of the date and amount of the renewal between one and three months before it (article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code).
You can stop the renewal at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason, from My account or from your order link: "Stop automatic renewal", then "Confirm". An e-mail confirms the cancellation and its date. It takes effect at the end of the period already paid, until which the licence stays valid; you can change your mind until that date. The current period is not refunded, except in the cases set out in section 7.
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days and invites you by e-mail to update your card; without payment, the subscription ends and the software returns to the free edition.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose performance has begun with your express consent and your waiver of that right. By ticking the box provided when you order, you ask for the key to be delivered immediately and waive your right of withdrawal. Without that box, the order cannot be placed.
7. Refunds and warranty
If the key cannot be activated for a reason attributable to us and we cannot fix it within seven days, the order is refunded in full, by the method used to pay. The refunded licence is then deactivated. The software is provided with the care of a reasonable publisher. DriverDetect does not guarantee that a driver or software update offered by a third-party publisher is free of defects, and for that reason offers a backup and a restore point before each installation.
8. Suspension
A licence obtained by fraud, shared publicly or used beyond the number of PCs of the offer may be suspended after a warning e-mail that remains unanswered for seven days.
9. Personal data
What we keep from an order (name, e-mail, amount, payment method, reference) and why is described in the privacy policy. Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires.
10. Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, write to us first: most questions are settled by e-mail. You can also use, free of charge, a consumer mediator, [to be completed: the chosen mediator], or the European online dispute resolution platform.
